It all started with my Easy-Bake Oven when I was just 6 years old. I baked my first little cake and I was in love! It didn’t take long to graduate to a full-size oven and my mother’s classic 1960’s Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook with it’s pink and white gingham cover. I’ve been baking ever since, often with recipes from that same cookbook. After spending most of my life in Seattle, I’m now living in New York City in a lovely studio apartment with a tiny kitchen and an oven that reminds me of my first Easy-Bake Oven so it seems that I have come full circle. I will be sharing a few tips and recipes that keep it simple. Enjoy!
